Tiger Wheel & Tyre Opens in Faerie Glen, with Grand Opening Specials This October
Tiger Wheel & Tyre has opened its doors in Faerie Glen, bringing trusted tyre expertise and professional fitment services to Glen Village South Shopping Centre. The store began trading on 25 September 2026 and will celebrate with exciting Grand Opening specials from 14 to 16 October 2026.
The company-owned outlet is Tiger Wheel & Tyre’s 147th store, strengthening the brand’s presence in Pretoria East. Conveniently situated at the corner of Solomon Mahlangu and Olympus Drive, it gives motorists a new local destination for tyre advice, quality products and ongoing vehicle care.
Led by Casey Kiewiets, the Faerie Glen team is ready to assist customers with everything from choosing replacement tyres to preparing their vehicles for a family holiday.
“Opening in Faerie Glen gives us the opportunity to become part of a community and earn its trust through the service we deliver every day,” says Chris Farrar, Group Retail Channel Executive. “We want customers to leave knowing they’ve received sound advice and made the right choice for their vehicle and budget. We look forward to welcoming residents and celebrating with them during our Grand Opening.”
The store offers leading tyre brands including BFGoodrich, Bridgestone, Continental, General Tire, Goodyear, Hankook, Michelin, Pirelli and Yokohama, alongside wheels and batteries. Services include wheel alignment, balancing, tyre rotation, nitrogen inflation and free safety checks.
Qualifying tyre purchases include FREE X-Sure ZERO™ tyre insurance, powered by X-Sure®, providing up to R500 cover per tyre for eligible road hazard damage over six months. Customers must register their purchase on the Tiger Wheel & Tyre app within seven days of the invoice date to activate cover. A 30-day waiting period and policy terms, conditions and exclusions apply.
Flexible payment options, including Float and PayJustNow, allow customers to spread the cost of purchases, subject to provider terms and qualifying requirements.
Serving South African motorists since 1967, Tiger Wheel & Tyre invites the community to meet the team and enjoy the Grand Opening specials from 14 to 16 October.
