A Tiger Wheel & Tyre professional will perform checks on the following:
- Tyres
- Shock absorbers
- Windscreen
- Windscreen wipers
- Head lights, indicators / hazard lights, brake lights, reverse lights
- Spare tyre, jack, lock nut, wheel spanner and triangle
- Alarm system
- Immobiliser
- Gear lock
- Other security devices
- Hands free kit
- Service intervals maintained
When the check is complete, you will receive a copy of the form which you, as a Momentum Multiply member, must upload as part your validations. This form will be used to verify the answers you gave in the Safety Score Questionnaire and will be considered in the calculation of your safety bonus.
How your safety score bonus is calculated
You must complete the Safety Score Questionnaire.
Once completed, you will be asked to validate some of your answers in a step-by-step process. You can do this by uploading proof of the safety measures you have installed in your respective environments.
Examples of this could be:
- Proof of completing and passing a MultiPoint vehicle safety check at Tiger Wheel & Tyre
- A photo of the burglar bars at home
- A certificate of a vehicle tracking system installation
- Proof of payment for purchased security measures
Only approved validations by Momentum will be used when calculating your safety bonus.
If you have validated at least 50% of your score, your safety bonus will be activated. If you can’t validate at least 50% of your score, you will not earn a bonus.
You will need to complete the Safety Score each year to qualify for the annual bonus since your Safety Score assessment is only valid for a year. We will let you know when your questionnaire is up for renewal.

With Momentum Car and Home Insurance, you can get cash back every year, even if you claim.
If you’re on Starter or Bronze status, have a Safety Score of 71% – 80% and have 21 – 25 Safe Dayz™ per month, you qualify for a 5% cashback bonus. This means that if your Momentum Car and Home Insurance premium is R1 000 a month, you will get a yearly cashback bonus of R600.
If you’re on Gold status, have a Safety Score of 55 – 70% and have 16 – 20 Safe Dayz™ per month, you qualify for a 7, 5% cashback bonus. This means that if your Momentum Car and Home Insurance premium is R1 000 a month, you will get a yearly cashback bonus of R900.
If you’re on Private Club status, have a Safety Score of at least 80% and have 26 or more Safe Dayz™ per month, you qualify for a 30% cashback bonus. This means that if your Momentum Car and Home Insurance premium is R1 000 a month, you will get a yearly cashback bonus of R3 600.
